DIU holds mini marathon marking Independence Day

The Daffodil International University (DIU) organized  a “Mini Marathon” Saturday at the Daffodil Smart City in the capital marking Independence Day- 2022.

Dr. A B M Kamal Pasha, Head, Department of ESDM & Adviser, DIU Sports Committee inaugurated the Marathon as the chief guest and distributed prizes among the winners.

Syed Mizanur Rahman, Director Student Affairs, Ishaq Miji, Deputy Registrar, Mosleh Uddin, Deputy Director, Kazi Diljeb Kabir, Deputy Director (Administration) Md. Anowar Habib Kazal, Senior Assistant Director (Public Relations), Saad Andalib Joy, Physical Instructor of the university were also present. 

Mominur Rahman, student of the Software Engineering Department, became Champion in the Marathon while  Amamin and  Sathin Reza Shuvo of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Department  won the 1st Runner Up and 2nd Runner Up prizes respectively.

Oisui Saloa of Software Engineering Department, Jannatul Ferdous Juisi, Mosammat Juthi Akter, Sanjida Ishraf Tura of  CSE Department AND Maksuda Parving Dipa of Law Department were specially awarded for their outstanding performance.
