First Security Islami Bank (FSIB) placed 1st runners-up at Sheikh Hasina Interbank Football Tournament 2024. FSIB placed 1st runners-up by defeating 1-0 goal in the tournament organized in this regard. Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina handed over the prize to Syed Waseque Md Ali, Managing Director, Md. Masudur Rahman Shah, Deputy Managing Director and team management of FSIB in the program organized in this regard on 13 July 2024 at Army Stadium, Dhaka. The program was presided over by Nazrul Islam Mazumder, Chairman of Bangladesh Association of Banks (BAB). Among others, Salman F Rahman, Private Industry and Investment Adviser to Prime Minister, Nazmul Hassan Papon, Minister, Ministry of Youth and Sports, General Waker-uz-Zaman, OSP, SGP, psc, Chief of Army Staff, Abdur Rouf Talukder, Governor of Bangladesh Bank and A.K.M. Nurul Fazal Bulbul, Chairman of the Tournament Organizing Committee were present in the program. It is the 2nd time of such tournament organized by the BAB for the Bankers. There were 31 Private banks participated in the tournament.
