The United Arab Emirates has become the highest source of remittance for Bangladesh with around US$4.6 billion in the just concluded fiscal year 2023-24, according to Bangladesh Bank data. Total remittance inflow to the country surged in the latter half of the fiscal year, reaching a three-year high of $23.91 billion.
