Today is the 8th death anniversary of poet Abul Hussain, known as first modern Bengali poet of Bangladesh. Abul Hussain, who won the Ekushey Padak in 1980 and Bangla Academy Literary Award in 1963, authored 25 books. Naba Basanta was his first book of poetry.
