Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has predicted that weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky over the country, having chances of light rain or drizzle at one or two places over Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions.
“Moderate to thick fog may occur at places over the river basins and southern part of the country and light to moderate fog may occur elsewhere over the country during midnight till morning in the next 24 hours commencing 9:00 am, Saturday,” said a BMD bulletin on Saturday.
Night temperature may rise slightly over the country; day temperature may fall by 1-2 degree Celsius over northern part and it may fall slightly elsewhere over the country.
The highest temperature on Friday was recorded 29.0 degrees Celsius in Srimangal while Saturday’s minimum temperature was recorded 09.6 degrees Celsius in Tetulia and Nikli.
The sun set at 5.17 pm on Saturday, and will rise at 6.38 am on Sunday in the capital.
