Two more people have died from their injuries after a gas explosion in Mongolia last week, the country’s National Trauma and Orthopedic Research Center said Thursday, bringing the toll to five.
A truck carrying 60 tons of liquefied natural gas collided with a car and exploded in the early hours last Wednesday.
The country’s National Emergency Management Agency initially said that three firefighters died in the fire, as well as three other people.
It later said only three firefighters had been killed.
The national trauma center told AFP on Thursday that two more people had died, bringing the toll to five.
