DIU ranks first in Bangladesh in world university rankings’25

Daffodil International University (DIU) is ranked jointly at the top in `Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings-2025’ among Bangladeshi Universities, a press release said Friday.

DIU has also achieved an overall position in the range of 801–1000 among global universities ranked this year. Besides, it ranks 269th globally in ‘Research Quality’ criteria.

This information was published on the official website of Times Higher Education on Wednesday (October 9). A total of 2092 universities in the world are ranked this year. Among them, the number of universities in Bangladesh is 17.

DIU’s success in THE World University Rankings 2025 is based on its outstanding performance across five core pillars: Teaching, Research Environment, Research Quality, Industry, and International Outlook. The university achieved a citation impact score of 96.0, highlighting its significant contributions to global research.
