BURO Bangladesh signs deal with upay

Mobile financial service provider upay has signed an agreement with BURO Bangladesh to facilitate the ‘not for profit’ non government organization to collect loan installments from their customers through upay, a press release said Thursday.

Emon Kalyan Dutta, Chief Sales & Service Officer of upay, and Farmina Hossain, Director of Operations of BURO Bangladesh, signed the agreement on behalf of their organizations at the BURO Bangladesh office in the city. Rezaul Hossain, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of upay, was also present.

Under the agreement, around 2.232 million BURO Bangladesh customers will be able to conduct various financial transactions through upay, including making installment payments of their savings scheme maintained with the organization.

Shakib Altaf, Deputy Director, Hasan Mohammad Zahid, Assistant Director, Md. Mamunur Rashid, Account Manager, Md Mahfuzur Rahman, Account Manager of upay and M. Mosharrof Hossain, Finance Director, Pranesh C. Banik, Director- Risk Management, and other Higher Officials were also present at the ceremony.
