Chevron Bangladesh held its 25-year celebration event at Hotel InterContinental Dhaka recently, a press release said Wednesday. Dr Tawfiq-e-Elahi, Bir Bikram, Adviser to the Prime Minister on Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Affairs, Government of Bangladesh attended the event as the Chief Guest. Md. Mahbub Hossain, Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, and Gazi Mohammad Shahnawaz, MP of Habiganj-1, were present as the special guests. Petrobangla Chairman, Md. Nazmul Ahsan, Joseph Giblin, Economic Unit Chief, US Embassy, Dhaka, and officials from Petrobangla, Energy and Power Resources Division, different govt agencies, AmCham and FICCI were also present.
