OPPO & BURO Bangladesh honors 3 real-life heroes

 OPPO Bangladesh, in collaboration with BURO Bangladesh, has recently launched ‘Stories of Heroic People’ campaign to find out the stories of struggle and success of real-life heroes of the present-dayBangladesh withan objective to commemorate the 50th Victory Day of Bangladesh.

The 3 real-life heroes have been nominated through this campaign who have immense contribution to the country as wells the society.

Kicked off on  December12,  the campaign continued till 18 December 2021. During thie period, OPPO Fans shared the stories of heroic people with OPPO official Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/OPPOBangladesh/videos/305471278139431).Many people took part  in the campaign and shared the stories of the heroes they know by capturing the photos with OPPO smartphone. Out of numerous stories, three people LubabaTul Jannat, SimantoMondol, Nipa Bepari have been selected as the winners of this year’s campaign. They came up with the real life heroes.

Rabindranath Biswas, hailing from Bararia village under Batiaghataupazila in Khulna district, is a 70-year old freedom fighter and a village doctor who treats people with medicinal plants. He used to treat sick and injured freedom fighters in 1971 and provide them food. From 1971 onwards, even today he is providing free medicare to the villagers. To his surprise he found that  his name is not in official list of freedom fighters. However, he does not feel frustrated because he believes in helping people under any circumstances.

On the other hand, Sajedul Islam is avolunteer  andInvolved in various social activities. He  regularly donates blood and at the same time encourages others to donate blood. During the COVID pandemic, he has provided free oxygen cylinders in collaboration with ‘GopalganjBondhu Mahal’.
