Bangladesh Senior Citizen Welfare Society signs MoU with DIU

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between Daffodil International University (DIU) and Daffodil Family along with Bangladesh Senior Citizen Welfare Society today on 25th June at 71 Auditorium of Daffodil Plaza in Dhanmondi in the capital to prevent the deterioration of social values ​​and suffering of the growing elderly population and to create an elderly friendly society. Engr. Md. Fazlur Haque, Secretary General of Bangladesh Senior Citizen Welfare Society and Dr. Hamidul Haque Khan, Treasurer of Daffodil International University signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations.

Presided over by Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Founder and Chairman of Daffodil International University and Daffodil Family, the program was addressed by Former Army Chief and Patron of Bangladesh Senior Citizen Welfare Society Lt. General. Md. Harun-or-Rashid, Bir Pratik (Retd), Adviser of Bangladesh Senior Citizen Welfare Society & Chief Executive Officer of Forum for the Rights of the Elderly Bangladesh Major General Jibon Kanai Das ( Retd.) , Vice Chairman of Bangladesh Senior Citizen Welfare Society Engr. Kabir Ahmed Bhuyan, and Chief Executive Office of Daffodil Family Dr. Mohammad Nuruzzaman.

DIU and Daffodil Family under its  Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) signed the MoU with Bangladesh Senior Citizen Welfare Society  and the organizers hope that the joint efforts of these two institutions will have a positive role in preventing the deterioration of social values, including the suffering of the growing elderly population, and building an elderly-friendly society.
