Emirates airline organised a drawing competition for the resident children of the Dhaka Ahsania Mohila Mission Orphanage in the city Friday on the occasion of the Independence Day of Bangladesh.
Over 60 girls participated in the competition which was themed around the Independence Day of Bangladesh and modern air travel. Emirates’ Area Manger in Bangladesh Mohamed Alhammadi and other officials from the airline’s Dhaka office were present during the competition and interacted with the children. As part of the competition, drawing material and other souvenirs were presented to the girls.
Dhaka Ahsania Mission Girls Orphanage cares for over 60 girls from across the country and provides them with education and life-skills for better integration into society. Emirates has celebrated special occasions at the orphanage over the last seven years.
