Bangladeshi band ‘Ashes’ set for European tour

Ashes, a renowned Bangladeshi band, is going to perform at three concerts in three different European countries. The concerts will take place on Friday (December 16), 23, and 26 in Amsterdam (the Netherlands), Frankfurt (Germany), and Paris, France. The “Bangladesh Victory Day Celebration Concerts” will be co-organized by the BDFestivals Netherlands, BD Soul Harvest Germany, and Franco Bangla France. There has already been huge interest and excitement among the local Bangladeshi community regarding these three concerts.

In this regard, the band’s vocalist, Zunayed Evan, said: “This is our first concert in Europe, and we are really looking forward to the concerts. Hope the concerts will be memorable for us.” The other two members of the band, Tawfiq Ahmed Bijoy and Sultan Rafsan Khan said that since the concerts are related to the history of Bangladesh and Victory Day, it goes without saying that these concerts carry a very special significance for the band.

They added that the band feels really happy to be a part of the concerts. Imran of BDFestivals, one of the main organizers of these concerts said: “We are trying to create a platform in Europe for the Bangladeshi bands, starting with Tahsan and Ashes, where they will have the opportunity to perform in the concert venues which have the top European standards.”

“And also usually these bands will be performing in multi countries, more like a Europe tour. And by that, you can understand how big the scope it is for Bangladeshi band as well as the Bangladeshi community here living in Europe,” he added. Shoumik, the organizer from Germany expressed his delight and stated: “I believe this initiative will allow our people to come, celebrate and create some memories they will cherish forever”

Meanwhile, Rabbani, one of the main organizers of Paris said: “Band music is our national pride and it also represents our childhood. We are very happy to be able to spread it here in Europe by creating a common platform. ” After the concert, the organizers are set to host a “Meet and Greet” segment for the fans of the band.

Fans will have the opportunity to meet and take selfies with their favorite bands.This episode is organized by Muse Communications of Bangladesh and a separate ticket should be purchased for the segment.

Apart from Ashes, another popular band from Bangladesh “Tahsan and Friends” will be present at the concert.
