A meeting of the executive committee of Bangladesh Volleyball Federation was held at Bangladesh Club in capital’s Uttara on Tuesday evening.
President of the Federation and Mayor of Dhaka North City Corporation Mohammad Atiqul Islam presided over the meeting. Vice President of the organization M A Razzak Khan Raj, Mohammad Yunus, Md. Khasru Chowdhury, Md. Habib Ullah Don and General Secretary Ashikur Rahman Miku were also present.
The meeting discussed and decided on the organization of Dhaka Metropolitan Premier Division regarding Inter-District Volleyball, School Volleyball, First and Second Division Volleyball League and Beach Volleyball.
One of the other important discussions of the meeting was presentation of a report on the visit of a representative of the Federation participating in the Kaaba National Federation Management Course to Uzbekistan.
Decisions were taken regarding the organization, budget, formation of national team, appointment of trainers, assistant coaches and managers of “Bangabandhu Under-23 Asian Central Zone Volleyball Championship 2022”.
Decision was also taken to participate in the International Volleyball Championship 2022 to be held in Dubai.
Decisions were made regarding the organization of inter-college women’s volleyball competition-2022, ending of trainees from Bangladesh for e-score sheet and VIS course to be held in Kyrgyzstan.
