For his contribution in the sports arena, especially in football, Tarafder Ruhul Amin, managing director of Saif Powertech Ltd. and vice president of Chittagong Abahani, has been awarded the Mother Teresa Award in India.
He was presented the award during a ceremony in Kolkata on Friday.
Ruhul Amin played active role in organising the Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup, which is hosted by Chittagong Abahani in association with the Bangladesh Football Federation.
Ruhul Amin also stood by around 1000 footballers from across 64 districts during the coronavirus pandemic.
